Ford Racing in Allen Park, MI is seeking an experienced Motorsports Engine Builder to join the Global Motorsports team. The role focuses on developing cutting-edge powertrains for racing programs worldwide, with a strict onsite requirement five days per week.

You will assemble, teardown, and test race engines, maintain comprehensive build records, and support dyno testing and installations. A strong background in high-performance engines and blueprints is essential for success.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of race or high-performance engine building experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience reading complex engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with computer systems and related software applications (Microsoft applications).

Mansioni

• Perform assembly, disassembly, and rebuilding of high-performance race engines per specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all engine builds, component history, tolerances, and traceability.
• Execute non-destructive tests and inspections to verify component integrity and dimensional accuracy.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols and best practices to prevent contamination.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in build and teardown processes.
• Organize and maintain facilities to ensure a top-tier race engine build environment.
• Generate engine teardown reports with pictures and measurement data.
• Provide dyno testing support including build verification, development, and installation/removal of engines.
