Job summary

Premier Motorsports Company in Santa Clarita is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a hands-on contract role. The role requires 3-5+ years in electrical design, CATIA V5/V6 or 3D Experience proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Travel may be needed for vendor visits and testing.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of electrical design engineering experience (automotive, motorsports, or aerospace preferred).
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or 3D Experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems and wire harness design.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and create BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical components, subsystems, wire harnesses, and high-voltage systems.
• Create 3D/2D models and perform engineering calculations to meet targets.
• Support prototype builds, assembly trials, and manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams throughout development cycle.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation; support DFM reviews.
