Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking an early-career Design Engineer for a premier motorsports organization in Santa Clarita, CA. You will help take designs from CAD to prototype to track, contributing across the development cycle.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering and 1–3 years of experience with CAD tools and hands-on fabrication, testing, and validation. This role offers hands-on design exposure in a high-performance racing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience; internships/co-ops welcome.
• CAD experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Creo.
• Knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Formula SAE, Baja SAE, motorsports, fabrication, FEA/CFD, or hands-on automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and documentation.
• Support component design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, technicians, and engineering teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting, design improvements, and engineering releases.
