The role involves teaching the basic rider safety course based on the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum to students who wish to obtain licensing for 2‑wheel or 3‑wheel motorcycles. Instructors are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline and may be called upon to assist in emergency situations or other duties as required by the agency or state government.
Work hours are flexible: daily from 5:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Fridays, and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional weekdays or evenings as needed and arranged with coach and potential students.
