The position is full-time, day shift, not eligible for telework, with a monthly salary range of $2,820 to $4,149.83 and a TEXAS-A-12 pay grade.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation or GED.
• Completion of an accredited vocational/technical program in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, diagnosis, repair, or replacement of defective components on motor vehicles.
• Performs safety and emissions inspections.
• Exchanges, rebuilds, and overhauls motors, transmissions, differentials, carburetors, and other motor vehicle components and systems.
• Distributes motor vehicle supplies.
• Maintains records on work performed and parts used.
