Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Motor Vehicle Inspector to join our team! In this role you will perform vehicle inspections.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Perform complete vehicle safety and emissions inspections within the lane and enter data into the computer.
  2. Responsible for the accuracy of vehicle inspection data including: vehicle type, engine size, inspection, sticker, etc.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean work area by removing oil, water and other materials from the lane and equipment.
  4. Provide excellent and courteous customer service.
  5. Explain vehicle inspection results to customers in a clear, concise, understandable and polite manner.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  3. Ability to obtain a New Jersey inspector’s license upon employment (paid training provided).

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Must have good oral communications.
  2. Must possess and use good customer service skills.
  3. Computer skills preferred.

Benefits:

  2. Paid job training to get NJ State Inspector’s License.
  3. Starting wage of $16.32 per hour with promotions up to $24.19 per hour.
  4. 4 paid breaks per day.
  5. Uniforms (including winter coats and shoes) provided at no cost.
  6. Paid Time Off: 14 paid holidays per year – including your birthday! Earn up to 5 sick days and up to 6 vacation days your first year, and then 5 sick days and 10 vacation days at the beginning of the next calendar year.

Salary Range:

$16.32 – $24.19
