Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking a Motor Transport Operator to support transportation logistics by supervising and operating wheeled vehicles to move cargo and personnel across varied terrains. You will manage loading/unloading and report any vehicle problems to ensure mission readiness.

The role requires enlistment in the United States Army, completion of basic and advanced individual training, and eligibility as a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.

Qualifications

• Enlistment in the United States Army is required.

Job description

As a Motor Transport Operator, you’ll play an important part of the Army’s transportation logistics team. You’ll supervise and operate wheeled vehicles over all types of terrain to safely transport cargo, troops, and provide advanced mobility on all missions. You’ll manage loading, unloading, and report any vehicle problems or damage.

Testing & Certifications

• 17 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
• 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
• 6 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
• Requires enlistment into the United States Army.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

• Age: Between 17-35 years old.
• Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
• Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card. (I-551)
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
