Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Utility Operator in Longview, WA, to support motor repair work. You will clean, disassemble, and prepare AC/DC motor parts for repair, using various equipment and following safety procedures.

The role requires operating forklifts and cranes and coordinating with the winding department to ensure efficient throughput. We offer a competitive hourly rate, comprehensive benefits, and a focus on training and career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform stripping operations to prepare A/C and D/C motor parts for repair and assembly.
• Operate material handling equipment such fork truck and cranes to deliver or store motors and parts.
• Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective gear.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and follow procedures and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Clean internal and external parts of motors including frames, cores, armatures, gears and housings.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners and sand-blasters.
• Paint repaired motors before shipping to customers.
• Assist winding department and coordinate with repair process.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
