Seward County Roads Department is hiring a Motor Grader Operator to operate the motor grader and other heavy equipment safely, ensuring roads remain accessible and in good condition. The role includes grading, spreading materials, and preparing surfaces to precise specifications.

Starting wage is $23.46 per hour, with pay dependent on experience. This is a field position serving Seward County, Nebraska, with on-site work and a focus on road maintenance and improvement projects.

• Experience operating motor grader or heavy equipment is preferred.

Seward County Roads Department is now accepting applications for the position of a Motor Grader Operator!

Motor Grader Operator is responsible for operating the motor grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to ensure the roadways are accessible, safe and in good operating condition. The Motor Grader Operator performs either rough or fine grade finishing, precisely spreading and mixing materials in order to dry and prep roads, construct road surface to precise grade specifications, and/or shave and rip out old road surfaces.

Starting wage: $23.46 or more per hour, depending on experience.
