Qualifications

• Experience with audits or reviews of financial records.

• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and conducts audits of taxpayer motor fuel reports and financial records to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Produces detail schedules of audit findings and documents supporting audit issues.
• Assists management in developing motor fuel forms, procedures, and audit policies.
• Prepares audit reports and memoranda and conveys procedures, laws, and regulations to taxpayers and staff.
• Performs special investigations as assigned.
