This skilled work involves driving heavy trucks, operating motor and construction equipment, complex mechanical equipment, and hand and power tools. It includes controlling equipment, performing routine maintenance, and directing a crew of laborers or equipment operators when assigned.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Employees must often stand, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, or crawl, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and focus adjustments. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, and loud noise levels. Safety devices and protective equipment are required to minimize risks.
Ability to understand instructions, communicate effectively, perform basic math, and apply common sense in following instructions. A valid Maryland Class A CDL, DOT physical card, and relevant certifications (flagger, confined space, forklift operation) are required or must be obtained within specified timeframes.
