Job summary

Conductix Wampfler is seeking an Motor Driven Reels Assembly Technician to join our Omaha manufacturing team. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components for motor-driven reels, wiring per specifications, testing and troubleshooting assemblies, and ensuring quality meets customer requirements.

You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, operate hand and power tools, and support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience is a plus
• Willingness to complete forklift and overhead crane certification training

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components for motor-driven cable reels
• Perform wiring installations and connect color-coded wires per schematics
• Test, adjust, and troubleshoot assemblies
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Identify and communicate quality, design, or production concerns
• Support safety, quality, and 5S initiatives
