Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Motor Development Specialist to join the team in Warminster, PA. The role involves implementing OT/PT-guided programs to help individuals develop basic functional skills and maintaining coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

Training will be provided by therapists, and supervision comes from the Program Manager. Schedule is 7am–3:30pm, Mon-Fri, with hourly pay of $18 plus a $2 enhanced pay option.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

TheMotor Development Specialistwill implement programs recommended by the Occupational Therapist (OT) and/or Physical Therapist (PT) to assist individuals develop basic functional skills. This position is responsible to maintain communications among an interdisciplinary team. Training and consultation will be provided by the Occupational and Physical Therapists and work performance will be directed by the Program Manager.
