Job summary

Diversified Automation is seeking an Electrical Controls Hardware Designer responsible for designing motor control panels and related systems used in material handling. You will handle 480V power schematics, 120V control schematics, I/O drawings, PLC layouts, panel designs, commissioning and checkout.

The role requires collaborating with sales engineers, PMs, and customers, producing detailed drawing sets, selecting materials, and verifying panels meet specifications and codes.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required (Bachelor's).
• Experience with motor control panels and power/control design is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with sales engineers, PMs, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Confer with sales engineers, PMs, customers to discuss project scope.
• Prepare detailed drawings for power and control schematics and panel layouts.
• Prepare material specifications and purchase requests.
• Operate CAD/engineering software to perform design tasks.
• Inspect and test motor control panels for compliance.
