Qualifications

• Requires a CLEET number and an uploaded résumé; Workday entries do not substitute.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have 3 years in transportation or law enforcement.
• High school diploma required; knowledge of motor carrier regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Patrols roads or operates a weigh station to enforce motor carrier laws.
• Inspect vehicles, documents, and contents for compliance with rules.
• Issue citations and warnings; detain vehicles when needed.
• Assist other law enforcement and respond to hazardous materials incidents.
• Inspect illegal dumping sites and prepare inspection reports.
