Job summary

Virginia Lottery is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to bring the brand to life through animation, video, and HTML5 assets. You will work from briefs, deliver high-quality creative, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

The role requires strong motion design skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with 3D tools. In-office work three days a week is required, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in motion graphics, animation, or digital design; advertising/marketing experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and 3D tools; ability to learn new tech.
• Knowledge of HTML5 advertising standards and Google Web Designer or similar software.
• Strong adherence to brand guidelines and advertising standards; effective cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Transform static concepts into engaging visual experiences with animation, audio, and effects.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and editors/producers to deliver cohesive creative.
• Develop HTML5 digital assets using Google Web Designer or equivalent tools.
• Ensure work aligns with brand guidelines across platforms.
