Gensler’s Brand Experience studio seeks a Senior Motion Designer to enhance their digital design capabilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to a range of visual identity and environmental graphics projects while collaborating with diverse teams. This role involves significant prototyping, design execution, and continuous skill enhancement.
Gensler New York’s Brand Experience studio is expanding; with our growing efforts and opportunities to further develop and incorporate digital design into the built environment, we’re seeking a Senior Motion Designer to add to our team.

Your Role
The ideal candidate has a background in graphic design and some prior experience designing visual identity systems, signage and environmental graphics. This individual will work on a wide variety of visual identities, environmental graphics, branded environments and signage/wayfinding projects, supporting project directors, teams, fabricators and clients.
What You Will Do
Be a maker and quickly move from paper / visualization into a real-world environment, keeping prototyping as a core element of how you approach and refine design.
Translate user needs into visual concepts and designs using a variety of tools and software
Evolve early ideas and concepts from ideation to sketches and storyboards to viable design solutions for our clients
Design and produce rich visual assets and presentation decks to help communicate design solutions to both internal and external teams and clients
Share design work and creative materials with internal teams and clients through crafted stories and dynamic presentations
Support and work with other designers to produce immersive and/or interactive content for both virtual (online) solutions as well as physical installations
Design rich user interfaces for digital touchpoints in the built environment and/or mobile experiences and platforms
Continuously grow your skill set, including learning new design tools, testing out new design workflows, and integrating with the tools and techniques used by other Gensler team members.
Participate in new business development activities like pitches and written proposals.
Your Qualifications
6+ years of Visual Design and/or related design experience
Experience designing for physical space, in 2D and 3DExceptional critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline and budget
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and understand diverse technologies and techniques
Proficiency with design tools including Adobe Suite, After Effects, Cinema 4D
Experience with Revit, Escape, Blender, Unreal, Twin Motion, Figma is a plus
Desire to employ best design practices and to develop new bold ideas

**The base salary range will be estimated between $118-140k plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
