Job summary

SumUp seeks a motion designer to join its Brand and Marketing Design team in Berlin, creating and adapting animated assets for campaigns, internal comms, events, and daily requests. You will build a library of templates and tag assets for easy reuse by the wider team.

You will use After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator, applying strong motion design fundamentals to deliver high-quality content and maintain brand standards across channels.

Qualifications

• A degree in graphic design, visual communication or motion design, with hands-on experience in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator for collaborating with brand and product designers.
• Strong grasp of motion design fundamentals, including timing, easing, pacing, typography and composition.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt animated assets for campaigns, internal comms, events and day-to-day requests.
• Build and maintain a library of reusable animated templates across formats like social, ads and web.
• Organise and tag motion assets in Canto so the wider team can find and reuse them easily.
• Keep the motion section of the Brand Standards Portal up to date as guidelines evolve.
• Run lightweight quality checks on animated materials before they go live.
• Contribute animated content for employer brand channels, including LinkedIn and social media.
