Job summary

Aerotech, Inc. designs, implements, and maintains the applications and front-end features of motion control software using C#/.NET. Designers focus on building intuitive user interfaces and reliable desktop applications for configure, control, and monitor products.

Engineers work with teammates to debug time-critical issues, develop new features, and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, while leveraging Visual Studio and modern UI frameworks.

Qualifications

BS/MS in CS/CE/SE or related field from an accredited college or university.
0–5 years of relevant work experience.
Thorough knowledge of an object-oriented language (C#, Java).
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Experience or working knowledge in UI design, WPF, XAML, MVVM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and maintains desktop software applications and libraries for motion control products.
Designs user interfaces with a focus on user experience.
Interacts with engineers to debug time-critical problems and implement new features.
Maintains knowledge of Visual Studio, source control, and OO programming concepts.
Ensures software meets Aerotech quality standards.
