Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Engineer II to perform engineering calculations, develop and troubleshoot designs, and support project progress with clear reporting. The role requires CAD proficiency and strong communication across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include coordinating customer requirements, preparing layouts and summaries, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while contributing to production planning and schedule setup.
Under limited supervision, the Engineer II performs engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned. The Engineer II collaborates with other employees to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems. The Engineer II assists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and two (2) to five (5) years of related experience.
May require travel and specific safety training to work in dangerous and extreme environment conditions while collecting data or commissioning new systems at the customer’s location.
