Motion Industries in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Fabricator to interpret blueprints, lay out parts, and operate fabricating machines to form and assemble components. The role requires precise measurement, stacking tolerances, and adherence to engineering layouts.
The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with gauges, calipers, and a basic grasp of mathematics. Manual dexterity and safety are essential for successful performance in this hands-on position.
Under direct supervision, the Fabricator makes, repairs, adapts, and rectifies tools, dies and other pieces of mechanical equipment with high precision specifications and tolerances by interpreting blueprints, consulting specifications and making operative tests. The Fabricator operates all kinds of mechanical tools under the guidance of a supervisor. The Fabricator fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repairs dies, cutting tools, jigs and related items. The Fabricator modifies dies to conform to engineering changes.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds.
$19.80 - $23.75/Hour
