The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care through the nursing process, collaborating with the health care team to ensure safe, high‑quality patient outcomes. You’ll be accountable for your professional development and practice within legal scope, advocating for patients and participating in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BSN preferred (completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to acute care after five+ years may need refresher course evidence.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Be accountable for professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Act as patient advocate for safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Deliver nursing care that reflects the organization’s mission, vision, values, and nursing department standards.
