Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care on the Mother Baby unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. The unit cares for women of childbearing age and newborns in a high-acuity, collaborative environment with complex cases and rewarding outcomes.

This full-time night position features 3 twelve-hour shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice or a valid compact license.
• BLS required; NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• Professional certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provide therapeutic and administrative services for patient care and support the hospital mission.
• Care for patients on the Mother Baby unit with complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Work a FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, 3 twelve-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
