Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 32-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday. The role supports RNs in delivering safe, compassionate patient care on a busy inpatient unit located at 2014 Washington Street, onsite.

Under RN supervision, you will document vital signs, assist with meals and mobility, maintain room readiness, and communicate with staff to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: healthcare experience 1–2 years required.
• Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• NH LNA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties including vital signs, EKGs, bathing, and ambulation assistance.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked, equipped, and cleaned.
• Performs specimen collection and documents information.
• Operate and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Document patient information and assist with feeding.
