Ascension is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to join the Mother Baby department in Nashville for day shift, full-time coverage. You will support postpartum mothers in a compassionate, patient-centered environment, helping with daily activities and ensuring comfort during recovery.

The role emphasizes accurate vital signs documentation, attention to detail, and collaboration with the care team to promote mother and family well-being in a non-critical setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate postpartum care in a couplet-care model.
• Assist mothers with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Monitor and document maternal vital signs and labs; report changes promptly.
• Manage room flow and maintain mother’s rest, privacy, and safety.
