Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee seeks a Night Shift RN for full-time home care nursing. You will plan, organize and administer patient care within your scope, collaborating to ensure quality outcomes in alignment with hospital policies and the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires 36 hours/week (night shifts 6:45p–6:45a) with opportunities to provide education, care planning, and evidence-based nutrition practices in a home care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license is required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Comply with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
