Job summary
Atrium Health Pineville Mother-Baby is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced postpartum unit. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with three 12-hour day shifts, plus weekend and holiday rotations.
You’ll supervise staff, coordinate patient care, support lactation services, and promote Baby-Friendly practices while pursuing BSN and professional certifications. BLS is required; two years of nursing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice; BSN preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- Minimum two years nursing experience; BSN required; manage or lead capability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct provision of patient care and assist the manager with daily operations.
- Coordinate patient care and outcomes, and allocate resources.
- Staff development, performance appraisal and service improvement.
- Support lactation services and Baby-Friendly practices.
