Job summary

Prince is seeking a supervisor to assist in recruiting and guiding MOT crews, coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and project management to ensure smooth traffic control operations on active sites in Florida.

The role involves supervising field crews, ensuring safety practices, and maintaining equipment inventories under outdoor working conditions. This position may require long shifts and mobility across sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, kneel, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, push and pull.
• Able to work outdoors in Florida heat and rain for long hours.
• Willingness to work extended shifts (10 hours/day, five days a week).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project superintendent regarding scheduling for crews and subcontractors.
• Maintain inventories of equipment for company and subcontractors; compare against actual counts.
• Submit certified quantities.
• Assist safety investigations on the jobsite.
• Mentor MOT trainees and coordinate training records.
• Assist in hiring MOT crews and coordinate operations with inspectors and engineers.
• Implement the project's traffic control plan per specifications.
• Oversee maintenance of traffic implementation.

Assistin the hiring process of MOT crews, supervise MOT crew(s), and coordinate MOT operations with inspectors, engineers, project superintendent, and projectforemen.

JobResponsibilities

• Communicate with project superintendentregardingscheduling or crews and subcontractors, phasing, detours, etc.
• Maintain inventories of equipment for company and all subcontractors; run comparisons against actualcounts
• Review andsubmitcertifiedquantities
• Assistsafety management team with investigations of any jobsite accident investigations on theproject
• Mentor traffic control specialist trainees enrolled inFDOTOJT Program. Communicate and collaborate with engineers and project managers toassuresuccessful completion of program and accuracy of training and time records.
• Assistin the hiring process of MOTcrews
• Coordinate MOT operations with inspectors, engineers,project superintendent, and projectforemen
• Implementation of the project's traffic control plan using the proper specifications and guidelines
• Full oversight and authorityregardingthe project's maintenance of traffic implementation

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand, kneel, walk,lift upto 50 pounds, bend, stoop, push andpull
• Must be able to work on average ten (10) hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) perweek
• All work is performed outdoors in Florida heat and rain; and around heavy highway trafficareas
