Job summary

MosquitoNix Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC is hiring a Field Technician & Installer to install and service misting systems and holiday lighting for residential and commercial properties. The role includes site assessments, customer support during installations, and seasonal lighting maintenance across fall and winter.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent,ovable technical training, and be comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus.
• Experience in installation, field service, landscaping, construction, lighting or related trades preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; 18+ years old.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather; able to use ladders at heights.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule during peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain MosquitoNix misting systems at residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best mosquito control strategies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during installations and service visits.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems.
• Educate clients on system operation and mosquito control best practices.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove seasonal holiday lighting displays.
• Safely install lighting on roofs, trees, and landscapes using ladders and safety gear.
• Ensure lighting meets quality standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service delivery and project completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols, policies, and vehicle guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in installation, field service, landscaping, construction, lighting, or a related trade preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 18+ years old.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at moderate heights during holiday lighting installations.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule during peak seasonal periods, including fall and early winter holiday lighting season.
