Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with field data collection and data entry.
• Process samples and identify mosquitoes to genus and/or species morphologically and with PCR assays.
• Test mosquitoes for the presence of West Nile virus.
• Dissect egg follicles to determine diapause timing.
• Maintain mosquito colonies in the laboratory.
• Enter and analyze data; assist with publications, fact sheets and outreach materials.
• Order and organize laboratory supplies; assist with lab safety and management.
