Technicians work independently in one of fifteen Mosquito Control zones. They perform outdoor fieldwork, checking known or potential mosquito breeding sites for larvae, pupae, rafts, or adults. They apply insecticides by spraying or other control measures to reduce or eliminate the mosquito population that can transmit diseases or cause nuisances in Marion County.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
