Job summary

Pellissippi State Community College is seeking a Title III MOSAIC Initiative Coordinator (grant funded through Sept 30, 2028) to support the college’s strategic plan. You will coordinate programming, provide individualized coaching to first-generation students, and work with campus and community partners to meet grant objectives.

In this role you will manage a caseload of about 200 students, organize study-away experiences, track progress using Banner, Argos, Navigate, and 25Live, and prepare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years’ experience in higher education or postsecondary access.
• Experience in college recruitment, advising, event planning, financial aid, or related areas.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage data reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of ~200 first-generation students with proactive coaching and check-ins.
• Coordinate MOSAIC activities, document outreach, and ensure accurate records in college systems.
• Provide training and mentoring for MOSAIC ambassadors and connect students to services.
• Assist students with admissions, advising, financial aid, and referrals.
• Plan MOSAIC study-away, leadership, and career-immersion experiences with campus partners.
• Prepare MOSAIC program reports and use data for program improvement.
