Qualifications

• Minimum two years collection or related customer service experience.
• Knowledge of FDCPA / Privacy Act / state laws relevant to collection.
• Understanding of mortgage defaults and loss mitigation basics.

Responsibilities

• Contact defaulted customers to obtain payment commitments.
• Analyze borrower situation to propose Forbearance, Repayment or Modifications.
• Negotiate loss mitigation options maximizing investor return and customer satisfaction.
• Skip trace for contact information and verify borrower details.
• Record all collection efforts and escalate when needed.
