You will recommend loan solutions, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal and external partners to close mortgage transactions.

The ideal candidate has a proven production history in the market, strong knowledge of lending guidelines, and a track record of growing mortgage volumes.

Qualifications

• University/college degree typically required, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
• Mortgage banking and sales knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements; manages daily loan activities of a small, high performing Mortgage Loan Officer team.
• Manages a portfolio of customer relationships; seeks prospects to retain/develop new clients; reviews documentation for compliance.
• Grows and retains an effective sales force to cover the market geography; manages pipeline for efficiency.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
• Collects and analyzes customer financial information for complex borrowers.
