Job summary

Washington State Housing Finance Commission seeks a Mortgage Servicing Specialist in Seattle to oversee subservicer activities, review audits, and help develop policies for efficient homeownership programs. The role collaborates with the Homeownership Division to ensure quality, compliance, and effective reporting of loan servicing data.

The position requires hands-on experience with agency guidelines and strong Excel skills, with telework several days a week and on-site weekly visits in

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of servicing or subservicing oversight experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and HUD.
• Understanding of agency and investor servicing requirements.
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD servicing and quality control processes.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Commission's loan programs.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign monthly servicing audit data from sub-servicer.
• Conduct servicing audits and follow up on findings with action plans.
• Review dashboards and create monthly servicing and quality control reports.
• Report data and outcomes to management and identify trends for root causes.
• Assist in MERs reporting and vendor oversight processes.
• Back up MERs Administrator duties when required.
