Job summary

Greenville Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist to deliver an exceptional mortgage experience for our members. You will ensure accurate and timely administration of mortgage servicing activities, including escrow analysis, insurance and tax disbursements, loan funding, and loan boarding.

Collaborate with loan processors and internal teams to maintain compliance with TRID, RESPA, and TILA, while providing attentive member service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in lending/financial sector with at least 3 years focused on mortgage loan closings.
• Familiarity with South Carolina mortgage lending laws and regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escrow analysis, homeowner's insurance and property tax disbursements, loan funding, and loan boarding.
• Quality control reviews and post-closing activities; assist with ongoing servicing requests.

DAY TO DAY AS A MORTGAGE SERVICING SPECIALIST

As a Mortgage Servicing Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional mortgage experience for our members. In this position, you will ensure the accurate and timely administration of mortgage servicing activities, including escrow analysis, homeowner's insurance and property tax disbursements, loan funding, and loan boarding.

Working closely with loan processors and internal teams, you'll help ensure loans are funded, booked, and maintained accurately while adhering to regulatory requirements and credit union standards. You'll also perform quality control reviews, manage post-closing activities, and assist with ongoing servicing requests to support the integrity of our mortgage portfolio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A MORTGAGE SERVICING SPECIALIST

To excel as a Mortgage Servicing Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, candidates should possess a solid educational foundation of a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 1 year in the lending or financial sector, with at least three years specifically focused on mortgage loan closings, is essential.
