Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus/override

Position Overview

An established residential mortgage lender is seeking an experienced Mortgage Sales & Production Manager to lead and expand its retail mortgage sales organization.

This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on recruiting experienced Loan Officers, developing and coaching the sales team, increasing production, expanding market share, and building stronger marketing and lead generation strategies.

The company offers QM, Non-QM, and private money/bridge loan products and is investing heavily in technology and automation. The Mortgage Sales & Production Manager will also have the opportunity to provide input into proprietary AI‑enabled POS, CRM, and LOS systems designed to improve recruiting, sales execution, training, and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the retail mortgage sales team
• Recruit, hire, and onboard experienced Mortgage Loan Officers
• Build and scale the sales organization
• Develop and lead Loan Officer training programs
• Coach Loan Officers to improve production and performance
• Establish production expectations and manage team accountability
• Develop strategies to increase company footprint and market share
• Build and execute marketing and lead generation strategies
• Develop new approaches to increase Loan Officer and branch pipeline growth
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, training, and sales through technology and automation
• Evaluate and support the adoption of AI‑enabled mortgage tools
• Provide input into internally developed POS, CRM, and LOS technology
• Help prepare the sales organization for changes in mortgage technology and automated workflows
• Collaborate with executive leadership on sales strategy, compliance, recruiting, and growth initiatives
• Represent company standards and culture within the local mortgage market

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage/lending industry experience
• Strong mortgage sales management experience
• Proven experience recruiting experienced Mortgage Loan Officers
• Proven track record building and scaling mortgage sales teams
• Experience training and developing Loan Officers
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
• Deep understanding of retail mortgage banking and brokerage sales
• Strong marketing and lead generation experience
• Demonstrated ability to grow mortgage production and market share
• Working knowledge of mortgage POS, CRM, and LOS systems
• Comfortable evaluating and adopting new technology, software, automation, and AI‑enabled tools
• Forward‑thinking approach to changes in mortgage sales and technology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work onsite in the West Covina, CA area
• Bilingual Mandarin and English preferred, but not required
• Experience implementing AI‑enabled mortgage sales, CRM, or marketing technology preferred

• $85,000–$110,000 base salary
