Job summary

Regions is seeking a Mortgage Production Manager in Houston, TX to supervise branch production and drive individual sales. The role includes cultivating origination sources, managing loan workflow, and reporting to senior management. Strong leadership, client relations, and knowledge of mortgage lending are essential.

The position offers an incentive plan with commission potential and requires a Bachelor's degree plus five years in mortgage lending or related fields. NMLS registration is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five (5) years of mortgage lending, real estate, retail sales or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops existing and cultivates new origination sources for one or more mortgage products.
• Manages the staff's workflow and assigns prospective loan requests.
• Monitors and manages branch performance and reports findings to Senior Management.
• Makes sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Prepares files for underwriting, loan committee, private mortgage insurance company and investors including loan approval sheet.
• Determines solutions for complex issues presented by operations and sales teams.
• May work with subordinate loan officers on more complex or problematic loans.
