Job summary

United Community Banks Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Product Manager to lead strategy, development, and performance of the mortgage product portfolio. You will own the full lifecycle from market research to implementation, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning.

You will collaborate across marketing, credit, operations and technology to build business cases, update pricing, and optimize product configurations in Optimal Blue, while tracking profitability and market trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience.
Four or more years’ mortgage banking experience.
Knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, regulations, compliance and due diligence practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of the mortgage product portfolio, ensuring competitive positioning and regulatory compliance.
Build business cases for new or revised products, including market sizing, revenue potential, and profitability analysis.
Prepare and present product reviews and recommendations to management.
Administer and manage product and pricing configurations within Optimal Blue, ensuring timely updates and coordination with teams.
Implement product changes, investor updates, pricing strategies, and margin adjustments in line with business needs and regulations.
