Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a mortgage processing lead to assist the VP in managing the mortgage processing function in Roanoke, VA. The role focuses on timely performance, staff feedback, and maintaining data integrity across all loans.

The ideal candidate has significant first mortgage processing experience, with underwriting knowledge and strong communication skills. Leadership experience and familiarity with major underwriting tools are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Significant first mortgage processing experience.
• Experience in first mortgage underwriting preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of mortgage documentation, regulations, and guidelines.
• Experience with Fannie Mae DU, Freddie Mac LPA, Total Score Card, and USDA GU system required.
• Experience with Federal Home Loan Bank Set-Aside and grant programs a plus.
• Prior first mortgage management/leadership experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
