Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA/RHS, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and PMI regulations.
• Experience in mortgage closing and post‑closing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Back-up to Post‑Closers, Final Documents and Investor Delivery during absences.
• Adjust assignments to address volume fluctuations and deadlines.
• Review closed loan files for completeness and compliance with agency, investor, and program requirements.
• Verify closing documents, signatures, dates, loan terms, and disclosures; ensure proper lien positions.
• Assist with delivery of loans to investors and document custodian.
• Review final documents for completeness; monitor trailing documents.
• Communicate with lenders, investors and internal staff to resolve issues.
• Cross‑train and cover duties in the closing department.
