Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• An NMLS number is required.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Loan Origination — Generate and originate mortgage applications through referrals, lead sources, and personal prospecting.
• Borrower Consultation — Assess borrower needs, explain loan options, and provide accurate pre-qualification guidance.
• Credit & Income Analysis — Review credit reports, income documents, assets, and liabilities to determine loan eligibility.
• Application Management — Complete and submit loan applications, disclosures, and required documentation.
• Pipeline Management — Maintain an active pipeline, monitor loan progress, and ensure timely communication with borrowers.
• Compliance & Documentation — Follow federal/state regulations, lender overlays, and disclosure timelines.
• Relationship Building — Develop referral partnerships with real estate agents, builders, and financial professionals.
• Sales & Lead Conversion — Convert leads into closed loans through consistent follow-up and strong customer service.
• Coordination With Operations — Work closely with processors, underwriters, and support staff to ensure smooth closings.
