Job summary

Bellwether Staffing Solutions in Stamford, CT is seeking a Mortgage Operations Support Coordinator to assist with processing, post-closing, compliance and operations. This is an in-office role with future hybrid flexibility. Local candidates within commutable distance are preferred.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of mortgage experience and a solid understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements. The position offers a base salary in the $60k–$70k range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in processing, post-closing, compliance and/or operations.
• Solid understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compliance oversight with assisting in daily operations, including post-closing, loan opening/setup, QC reviews, regulatory compliance & compliance training.
• Assist with regulatory exams, Mortgage Call Reports and all state regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate, implement, and track completion of annual compliance training programs to ensure adherence to regulatory and company requirements.
• Collaborate with third-party QC vendor to create file selection uploads, review preliminary and final audit reports, and coordinate management responses and corrective action reviews.
• Assist with post-closing operations, including processing closing packages, uploading closed loan for purchase review, and clearing post-closing conditions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Serve as a backup resource for preparing and issuing initial loan disclosures to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in processing, post-closing, compliance and / or operations with a solid understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements. 60K – 70K Base + Benefits
