Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year in collections or customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound and make outbound calls to delinquent borrowers while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Answer questions, document contacts, and explain loss mitigation options and outcomes.
• Understand investor waterfall and required documents for loss mitigation.
• Collect financial information and assist borrowers in reviewing loss mitigation documents.
• Explain terms of approvals/declines and liquidation options when necessary.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls, and support internal audit findings.
