Job summary

Pennymac seeks a Loan Resolution Specialist to process liquidation workout solutions with defaulted borrowers, aiming to avoid foreclosure and minimize loss. You will analyze loan documents, perform gain/loss assessments, and coordinate with negotiators to submit accurate workout options while adhering to PNMAC policies.

You should have 3+ years of relevant experience, be proficient in Excel and Word, and understand first/second mortgage liens and short sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with first and second mortgage liens and short sale/liquidation preferred
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Complete research on prior workout reviews to ensure the loan is eligible for Short Sale/ Deed in Lieu
• Analyze financial statements, loan documentation and other relevant data submitted to determine the accurate workout solution
• Provide details of failed submissions back to negotiator to correct and resubmit
• Review and provide feedback on submitted documents to ensure accurate and appropriate for the file
• Conduct gain/loss analysis on loans to project any potential future loss vs the acceptance of a short sale, deed in lieu, or cash for keys
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
