Job summary

Qualifications

• Reviews and evaluates mortgage applications to determine if borrower, property, and loan conditions meet standards.
• Prepares disclosures and documents for closing and tracks title/insurance as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of mortgage regulations, HMDA, fair lending rules and secondary market requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan requests and determine creditworthiness based on mortgage lending policy.
• Process, issue disclosures, approve or request information, and establish loan terms.
• Prepare final loan file for closing and auditing; coordinate with branches for closings.
• Ensure all mortgage operations comply with applicable regulations and maintain SAFE Act compliance.
• Assist with title and insurance tracking and monitor lien position.
