Job summary

Affidian Credit Union is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Servicing Specialist for our Denver location. You will manage post‑closing tasks, escrow administration, and member inquiries regarding payments and taxes while ensuring accurate recordkeeping.

This full‑time, in‑office role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional 7:00 am starts; growth and advancement are encouraged within the credit union.

Qualifications

• One year of similar or related experience in banking or credit unions preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to type accurately and operate a computer terminal.
• General knowledge of banking operations and procedures.
• Proactive in solving problems and taking initiative.
• Organizational skills to handle a large volume of information.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-closing duties such as file audits, track trailing documentation, audit final documents and maintain filing systems.
• Process and track tax and insurance payments; maintain escrow accounts.
• Perform annual escrow analysis and respond to member questions.
• Make payment adjustments and prepare payoff statements.
• Record new loan liens and deeds of trust; process subordination and modifications.
• Maintain orderly file room; assist with HMDA reporting and BSA/AML compliance.
• Coordinate 1098 tax statements and assist with cross-functional tasks as needed.
