Job summary

SAFE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is seeking a Mortgage Quality Assurance professional to perform post-closing and pre-funding audits, ensuring mortgage loan processes comply with CFPB requirements and investor standards. The role includes maintaining tax and insurance records on mortgaged properties and handling escrow disbursements and related issues.

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality assurance reviews on mortgage loan files.
• Knowledge of CFPB requirements and guidelines for mortgage processes.
• Ability to review income, tax, credit, assets and disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues in pre-funding and post-closing loan files to ensure CFPB compliance.
• Examine loan files for accuracy and completeness against investor and regulatory standards.
• Monitor escrow accounts, taxes, and insurance payments and records.
• Prepare reports and assist with loan-closing documentation and follow-up.
• Support mortgage processors with appraisals, credit reports and verifications.
