Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to support loan applications and underwriting processes. You will gather and verify financial data, ensure compliance with disclosures, and prepare complete loan files for underwriting and closing.

You will work with retail bankers to resolve discrepancies, adhere to GSE guidelines, and deliver accurate files on time while maintaining TRID compliance and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Associate Degree in administration or Finance-Related field.
• 1-3 years mortgage processing/ 3+ years mortgage processing or underwriting experience.
• Working knowledge of mortgage loan products and services.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with strong research skills.

Responsabilités

• Screen customer loan applications to determine loan eligibility by compiling personal financial data daily and log initial loan documents.
• Review for compliance, discrepancies, and omitted data and follow up for resolution by verifying with the application to meet Nicolet Bank and Investor guidelines and ensure timely disclosures.
• Prepare loan file for underwriting/closing, including appraisal, inspections, verifications, AUS findings, flood, etc., and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to GSE guidelines (FNMA/FHLMC) and investor guideline overlays; monitor investor/GSE notifications and attend webinars as needed.
• Produce timely, accurate early disclosures and send to borrower to meet TRID guidelines.
• Coordinate delivery of loan file to underwriting/closing specialist to meet customer expectations and rate lock expirations.
• Communicate with retail bankers for additional data to support file submission and meet deadlines.
• Obtain pre-closing verifications and updated insurance and payoff information as needed to obtain clear to close.
• Assist closing/post-closing activities to clear pendings and support profitability of the loan file.
• Uphold compliance with applicable laws and policies and support equal employment opportunity and inclusion.
