Job summary

One Nevada Credit Union in Las Vegas is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our Mortgage Lending team. You will gather, review, and organize loan documentation to ensure residential mortgage applications are complete, accurate, and compliant before submission to underwriting.

You will collaborate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and vendors to obtain missing information, order appraisals and credit reports, and enter data into processing systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of conventional and government mortgage loan processing experience.
• Working knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and assemble loan documentation for underwriting submission.
• Verify loan files meet investor and underwriting requirements.
• Order appraisals, credit reports, title work, and other documents.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and vendors to obtain missing information.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan data in processing systems.
• Review files for completeness, compliance, and documentation exceptions.
• Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting.
• Follow up on approved and declined loan files as needed.
